Free Radical Music is a great contact point if you are looking for music entertainment for your venue, party or wedding on the North Coast of NSW. Here at Free Radical Music we can put you in contact with the best of local entertainment and source exactly the right music for your event. Weddings are our specialty.
Snapshot Barry Ferrier and Brian Watt are a formidable music team that have been a driving force in North Coast entertainment over the past ten years, clocking up over 1000 gigs together and travelling to Europe, the UK and Norway. Both have won NCEIA 'Dolphin' over awards for their contribution, including a swag of 6 Dolphins for Barry.
Barry and Brian perform regularly as soloists in leading North Coast entertainment venues, but it is their duo act 'Snapshot' which combines their individual talents into a versatile and high energy unit which can touch all bases. They are especially popular as the perfect choice to make a wedding ceremony and reception a success. Free Radicals The guys also form the core of Free Radicals, a talented and entertaining Australian 4-piece popular music group and good-time party band, based on the world famous surfing beach coast near Byron Bay.
Each of the members are all experienced and committed professional musicians, with a strong industry track record, and a number of parallel ongoing recording songwriting projects - this is their fun, commercial outing where they get a chance to strut their stuff and let loose in a party atmosphere aimed at pleasing the punters. Current Members are Brian Watt, Barry Ferrier, Rick Brewer, Bass duties are filled by Slim Pickens.
They play rock and pop and a little funk with a distinctly Aussie feel, some real creative flair, a wicked sense of humour - and a simply awesome vocal harmony sound, featuring three great lead vocalists. Their repertoire draws on quirky but much loved hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s (they go out of their way to avoid the obvious) plus a tasty injection of great 90s and contemporary songs.
These guys play lots of instruments and definitely set out to have a good time as they rip through their kaleidoscopic selection of pop music gems and modern epics - including lots of surprises and a whole swag of favourite forgotten hits from all over the place, played with conviction, a touch of class, and some downright wacky energy.
It all adds up to a good show.
